WWHL – Andy Cohen is “enraged” after President Trump has appointed an anti-substitution lawyer for the federal judiciary
Andy Cohen became a dad for the first time at the age of 50 earlier this year, when he welcomed his son Ben through the surrogate mother. Cohen is a proud dad who likes to show his baby on Instagram, but if the new judge who President Trump had named was right, Cohen could not have Ben, which made him blush.
In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Life, Cohen called new federal judge Sarah Pitlyk – appointed by President Trump – as “Jackhole of the day” because she has a long history of defending human rights. WWHL - Andy Cohen Is 'Enraged' After President Trump Nominates Anti-Surrogacy Advocate For Federal Judgeship
President Trump has nominated Pitlyk for a position as a federal magistrate in the state of Cohen, Missouri, confirmed by the Senate, even though she has “never participated in a criminal case”. Instead, Pitlyk has spent her career “mugging the rights of people to use fertility treatments and surrogacy. “
The job has a lifetime appointment and Cohen told viewers how Pitlyk could hurt people who wanted to start a family using other methods.
“That is, if you were one of the millions of couples who have trouble conceiving or who turned to surrogacy to start a family, as I did for Ben, you are totally damned to this woman’s watch, “said Cohen.
He went on to say that the American Bar Association had described Pitlyk as “unskilled for the job” and that what she has done in her career has made this country “less safe and less fair to people whose the greatest wish is to found a family. “
Cohen ended his speech by informing Judge Pitlyk that he would send him a shipment of diapers on behalf of his son.

When Cohen released the clip on his Instagram page, he wrote in the caption that he was “rabid” and fans quickly flooded the comments section with messages of support. A fan wrote that this was the reason they left Missouri, and another called Pitlyk a “waste of space”.
A third fan wrote that she was a woman fighting fertility, and it was disheartening to know that another woman could make her lose her chance to be a mother.
